My wife came over yesterday and gave me this cute little thing. Tiny teacup + CoL characters? /B'aw!

I guess mom brought the marker doodles home that I did the other day, because I found them on the kitchen table this morning! Unless they followed me home on their magical flying leaves. Yes. Of course that's how they got here.

LAN Party!

Mook, Drey, Dan and I have been LANing pretty much all day. It took us forever to connect all of our computer together so we could actually play, but it was worth it! We played some Age of Empires II and after the laptop froze and I was kicked from the game, we played some Warcraft 3 and played some Burbenog! Got to wave 30 something before dying, probably just because we we pretty much all were magic type dudes, but it was fun fun fun.

I was going to draw our awesome computer set up, but if I drew Dan and Drey it would have covered over Mook and I and then it would have been like, "What am I looking at?" and that would be no good! So I drew them on a separate table, but we were all on our kitchen table, with our 4 monitors and everything was all cramped, but it worked, haha.

I drew this one in MS Paint! Aggghh. Drey get off my computer so I can use my tablet and my SAI and be happy, jeeze. After so many years with using a mouse, I seriously cannot use a mouse anymore after my hands touched the wonders of a tablet pen. It's terrible! D:

Raining Like Magic

Woodgrove Manor

I went to mom's work this morning to clean out their laundry room. Mom had to go to a meeting, so I had to hang out with the residents and smile at them and draw on some paper and drink my mocha. I doodled out this funky profile view of this girl with this giant pony tail and it was all tight on her head. She looked like a total bitch, but I liked how it turned out.. Maybe I will re-draw it, since I don't have the paper I drew it on anymore.

After mom's meeting, we headed to the laundry room and started right away. Took down all of the face clothes, towels, hand towels, bed sheets, pillow cases, and a ton more random clothing that I don't really want to get into... You can guess what other cloth thing they have in a care facility. After we had all the cloth down, I scrubbed and dried down all the cabinets and we added and organized all the cloth back into labeled sections of the cabinets and color coded them and folded them nicely, just the kind of thing I like to do!

It took us around 5 hours to finish it all, but it is way more prettiful now than it was before. It was a fun day! :)

Organizing Obsession

I have been going through every single song we have on Step Mania to find the good ones out of the bad ones. It took like 4 hours and 200 songs to go through individually, but now I can delete a bunch of crappy songs (which is the satisfying part!) and our Step Mania will be filled with good, awesome songs! I think I might have an obsession with organizing things like this. Like how I used to color code and organize things for my WoW friends. Especially my guild banks, jeeze. Oh no I mentioned WoW on my blog... Don't kill me! I don't play anymore!

Mouse Vs Tablet

For as long as I can remember I have used a mouse for all of my digital drawings, until I got a tablet for Christmas. <3

I have never wanted one, simply because I thought a tablet was just a mouse, but it was easier to handle and since I was already the best (not to sound extremely conceded!) I could be with using a mouse, since I had been using it for years and years and years, I thought getting a tablet wouldn't really help me draw any better digitally.

I didn't know anything about the tablet pen pressure option until my brother clicked it on the very first time in Photoshop and I was like "Ohhh my god..." If you don't know what it is, it just makes your digital pen strokes that of a real life pencil stroke. If you push down hard on the tablet pen, it will draw a thick line.. Push down lightly and it will make a soft line. It makes your art very unique and real and less boring.

I thought I would never get used to a tablet, but within a few days I was getting the hang of it. I can barely draw any good with a mouse now! Hehe.

Buggy Butterfly

We saw a butterfly on our hike today and it was the cutest little butterfly in the world! He was flapping his tiny little wings so fast and he looked a little confused as he flew in a few circles, but he soon found his way and began to flippy flappy into the trees. I hope you found your home safely little butterfly! I love you!!

Krista decided it was a Bug butterfly and came up with this idea. Poor Buggy Butterfly. He is having so much trouble with his tiny little wings... Just like Bumblebear! Aww..

I totally forgot to say this! But I realized I somehow made two Doodle a Day posts for Doodle Day: Forty-Six. So I went ahead and fixed it on the 12th. I actually stopped Doodle a Daying on Doodle Day: Fifty-One, not on Doodle Day: Fifty. Wow, there is a lot of D's and Doodles in that... So interesting, I know! Haha.

Late Night Game Making

Mook and I have been working on a big game idea all night... Our goal is to make it better and more popular than Farmville! (Or maybe that's just my goal... Haha.)

These guys are kind of creepy... But I assure you they will look better once I make some hair sets! I am responsible for the graphics while Mook is doing the programing. He has already made up all of the online system, which is going to be awesome! Imagine playing Farmville while being able to see your neighbours working on their farm and you are chatting to them and going "So yeah! I chopped down this tree and now I am going to build a house! What are you up to?" And then they will be all "Sweet, I am just mining away at this rock to build a stone path." Can you imagine it? I CAN! Mookie is amazing with his programming skills.
We are also planning to make it so if you build a house, you can also go inside of it and move around furnature you make and paint your walls and grow trees and cook! Ahhhh. I want to play this game now! Invite all of your friends over internetically and have pixelated tea parties! How cool would that be? Seriously.

We need to make this female beautiful! And the boy, also... But he doesn't matter as much.

Doodle Day: Fifty-One

  

Todays doodle is inspired by a photo I took yesterday.
I imagined a city like this, with a little more clutter and stuff on the walls but for some reason a few shelves is all I could think of... I might do a better version later on. :)

Today is the fiftieth doodle! (Edit! 03/12/2010: I had two Forty-Six doodles, so this doodle is actually the Fifty-First doodle.) I was thinking about changing around my blog a bit. Not have it Doodle a Day.
I am not sure if I will, but if you see some broken HTML and CSS and all that wonderful code crap, do not worry! It will be up and working eventually.

I dyed my hair last night. Well I actually dyed it twice in a span of two days. It was dirty blonde and orangeish to being with, then I dyed it bright orange (I got the wrong hair dye color) and then it is now this color! Yeyy, I like red.
